Ingredients for 8 servings:

  • 800 ml cream, whipped stiffly, 1 liter Ymer
  • 3 bags of vanilla sugar
  • 200 g sugar
  • 2 glasses of cherries
  • 20 biscuits (macaroons), approx.

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

a specialty from Denmark with Ymer, a yogurt-like sour milk product.

Combine the ymer, vanilla sugar, and sugar. Whip the cream until stiff and fold in. Crush the macaroons in a plastic bag. Drain the cherries. Then layer the cream, crushed macaroons, and cherries alternately in a glass bowl or glasses and decorate with macaroons and/or cherries. Serve immediately or refrigerate. Also delicious with raspberries or other fruits, if desired.
