Baked apple with dominoes

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 100 g butter
  • 1 pinch of cinnamon
  • 10 ml cream
  • 4 pieces of confectionery (dominoes)
  • 4 apples
  • 4 marzipan potatoes
  • 150 g sugar
  • Margarine for the baking tray
  • Vanilla cream

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Mix the butter, cream, vanilla cream (just a little, not too much), and sugar with a whisk or hand mixer. This should form a slightly runny mixture. Hollow out the apples (you can pierce all the way through). Seal the hole at the bottom of the apple with a marzipan potato. Fill the hole with the butter mixture (about 2 teaspoons). Cut the domino in half. Press one half into the filled apple. Spread another teaspoon of the mixture over it, then the other half of the domino on top. Repeat with the other apples. Simply pour the rest of the mixture over the apples. Bake on a baking tray at about 160°C (fan oven) for 20 minutes. Pour the vanilla cream over the mixture. Tip: Never grease the dish with butter, always with margarine, even with this recipe.
