Spaghetti Carbonara

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 200 g ham or bacon
  • 250 ml whipping cream or Cremefine for cooking
  • 2 processed cheese wedges
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • some margarine
  • possibly parsley
  • 300g spaghetti
  • Water (salt water)
  • possibly sauce thickener, light

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Cook the spaghetti in salted water as usual. Finely chop the ham or bacon, fry in a little margarine, and add the garlic. Stir in the heavy cream or Creme Fine and slowly melt the individual cheese wedges into the sauce. Bring everything to a simmer over low heat, stirring frequently. If the sauce is too thin, thicken with a little sauce thickener. If desired, add parsley. Mix with the pasta and serve.
