Spaghetti with cream cheese and smoked trout

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 300g spaghetti
  • salt water
  • 2 trout fillets, smoked
  • 150 g double cream cheese
  • 30 g butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, fresh, peeled and chopped
  • 5 sage leaves
  • Sea salt
  • Pepper, colorful
  • possibly spinach
  • possibly tomato(s)

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

fast, easy and adaptable

Cook the pasta until al dente, then drain. Reserving about 50 ml of the water, return the pasta and butter to the pot. Return the pasta to the heat, add the shredded trout fillets, sage leaves, and garlic, and sauté lightly. Deglaze with the pasta water. Add the cream cheese and mix thoroughly until a smooth sauce forms. Season with salt and pepper and serve. You can easily adapt this dish by adding halved cherry tomatoes or baby spinach to the pot.
