Pasta with cream cheese sauce

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 250 g pasta
  • 1 onion(s), diced
  • 1 garlic clove(s), pressed
  • 100 g cooked ham, diced
  • 2 tbsp margarine
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • ½ liter vegetable broth
  • 100 g peas, frozen
  • 200 g herb cream cheese
  • salt and pepper
  • a few stalks of parsley, finely chopped

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Cook the pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Meanwhile, sauté the onion, garlic, and ham in the margarine. Sprinkle with flour, sauté until lightly browned, and deglaze with the stock. Bring the sauce to a boil and simmer for a few minutes. Stir in the peas, cream cheese, and parsley, simmer briefly, and season the sauce with salt and pepper. Serve with the pasta.
