Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 10 apples
  • 6 eggs
  • 100 g sugar
  • 0.3 liters of wheat beer
  • 600 g flour
  • 1 lemon zest
  • 100 g butter
  • 1 vanilla pod(s)
  • 0.3 liters of vegetable fat

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Beat the eggs until frothy, add the beer, melt the butter, and stir in. Add the sugar, vanilla bean pulp, and lemon zest, and slowly sift in the flour until a semi-liquid batter forms. Core and peel the apples, then slice them about 1 cm thick. Heat the oil, dip the apple slices in the batter, and fry until golden brown.
