Ingredients for 3 servings:
- 1 can of corn
- 2 slices of toast (whole grain)
- 100 ml milk
- 3 tbsp parsley, finely chopped
- 400 g flour
- salt and pepper
- 1 pinch of nutmeg
- oil
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes
Drain the corn, then place it in a tall container and puree with a hand blender. Transfer it to a bowl and add the crumbled bread and milk. Mix with the parsley and flour, season with salt, pepper, and nutmeg, and knead everything together. Lightly dust your hands with flour and form the dough into apricot-sized balls (always coat your hands well with flour, otherwise the balls will stick too much). Add plenty of oil to a pan and fry the balls until golden brown on all sides. Drain on kitchen paper and serve with a spicy sauce.
