Beef ragout with raspberries

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 750 g meat (roulade meat)
  • 4 onions
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 tbsp jam (raspberry jam)
  • Water
  • Salt
  • pepper
  • herbs, Italian
  • 100 g raspberries (frozen)
  • 100 ml cream

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Spicy, sweet, delicious…

This is another recipe born out of necessity. Cut the meat into bite-sized pieces, finely chop the onions, and chop the garlic (don’t crush them). Brown everything together in olive oil in a pan or pot. Add salt, pepper, and herbs to taste. Cook the meat for about 45 minutes, depending on the size, checking occasionally to ensure there’s enough liquid. Season with jam and add the raspberries and cream just before serving. Serve with spaetzle. Enjoy!
