Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 1 onion(s)
- 3 tbsp oil
- 500 g minced meat, mixed
- 1 can of tomatoes, peeled (800 g)
- Salt
- Cayenne pepper
- Paprika powder, sweet
- 1 can sauerkraut (470 g)
- 250 g spaetzle
- 4 tbsp sour cream
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Finely dice the onion and sauté in 1 tablespoon of oil in a pan, then remove. Heat the remaining oil and brown the minced meat. Stir in the onions. Add the tomatoes and their juices. Season to taste. Cover and simmer for 10 minutes. Add the sauerkraut and simmer for another 10 minutes. Meanwhile, prepare the spaetzle according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside. Serve the meat sauce over the spaetzle. Serve with 1 tablespoon of sour cream each.
