Serbian: fried peppers with eggs

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 3 onions, diced
  • 1 kg red bell pepper(s)
  • 3 tbsp oil
  • 6 eggs
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Paprika pecena sa jajima

Sauté the diced onions in hot oil. Add the diced bell peppers and cook over medium heat with the lid closed. Whisk the eggs and season with salt and pepper. Pour the eggs over the vegetables and let them set, stirring constantly. Serve with white bread, fried Cabanossi, bratwurst, streaky bacon, and fried bacon.
