Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 3 peppers, red or yellow
  • 2 onions
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 package of tomatoes, pureed, 500 ml
  • ½ jar peanut butter, with pieces
  • e.g. chili powder
  • n. B. Salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 7 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 17 minutes

Chop the onions into small pieces and slice the bell peppers. First, fry the onions in oil until translucent, then add the bell peppers and fry for about 5 minutes. Deglaze with the passata. Stir in the peanut butter. Season to taste with salt and chili powder, and you’re done. I always serve this dish with small dumplings. However, it also tastes good with rice.
