Chicken in mustard sauce

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 4 tbsp mustard, grainy
  • 2 tbsp honey, liquid
  • 3 shallots
  • oil
  • Salt
  • pepper
  • ⅛ ml white wine
  • 2 tbsp crème fraîche

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Clean the meat, season with salt and pepper. Mix the mustard with the honey and briefly marinate the chicken breasts in it. Meanwhile, slice the shallots into rings and sauté briefly in a little vegetable oil. Add the meat (save the marinade!) and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side. Pour the rest of the marinade into the pan, then add the wine and crème fraîche and simmer briefly. Increase the amount of mustard and honey as needed (for example, if you like a lot of sauce). This dish goes well with potatoes or mashed potatoes, as well as vegetables like fennel.
