Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 2 dumplings, from the day before
- 1 large onion(s)
- 100 g bacon, diced, streaky
- 2 eggs
- salt and pepper
- nutmeg
- Fat, for frying
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
Using leftovers the Franconian way
Slice the dumplings and dice the onion. Heat the fat, fry the bacon, add the onions and dumpling slices, and fry until crispy. Whisk the eggs with the spices and pour over the dumplings. Let everything fry until the eggs are set.
