Tom's spicy autumn stew

Ingredients for 8 servings:

  • 750 g Brussels sprouts
  • 500 g bell pepper(s), colored
  • 3 large potatoes
  • 300 g bacon, streaky smoked
  • 4 cubes of meat broth
  • 2 liters of water
  • pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 35 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Clean the vegetables and peel the potatoes. Halve the Brussels sprouts and quarter the larger ones. Cut the peppers and potatoes into bite-sized pieces. Dice the bacon as well. Place everything in a large pot, add the stock cube and water, and season with pepper. Cook over medium heat for 20-25 minutes until tender, season to taste, and serve.
