Cheesecake without a base

Ingredients for 12 servings:

  • 250 g butter or margarine
  • 250 g sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 packs of pudding powder, vanilla
  • 1 kg quark

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Cream the butter and sugar until fluffy. Add the eggs and custard powder and mix. Finally, stir in the quark thoroughly. Pour the batter (it will be quite runny) into a well-greased springform pan (28 or 26 cm). Bake at 170°C (convection oven) for about 1 hour. Let cool in the pan. It’s best to check the cake frequently (use a toothpick to test it) to make sure it doesn’t overcook.
