Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 500 g flour (organic whole grain spelled)
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 500 g quark (low-fat quark, curd cheese)
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 2 eggs

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Quark rolls – super quick, airy, always a success

Mix the flour with the baking powder and salt. Knead with the curd cheese, honey, and eggs. Form the dough into small rolls and place them on a baking sheet (no need to let them rise!). Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 20-30 minutes. Tip: Sprinkle with spices or seeds such as coarse salt, caraway seeds, sesame seeds, flax seeds, poppy seeds, etc., depending on your taste.
