  • some salt
  • 1 shallot(s)
  • 100 ml cream
  • 30 g bacon, finely diced
  • 1 tbsp butter

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Clean the Brussels sprouts and blanch them in salted water, remove them, rinse them in cold water, and drain. Quarter the Brussels sprouts. Peel and finely dice the shallot. Fry the bacon in a pan until crispy. Sauté the shallots in a pan with 1 tablespoon of butter, add the Brussels sprouts, and toss briefly. Then stir in the bacon cubes and cream. Simmer until the Brussels sprouts are tender but still firm to the bite, then season to taste. This makes an excellent side dish for many dishes.
