Bohemian cabbage soup

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 400 g white cabbage, sliced
  • 1 large onion(s), chopped
  • 100 g bacon, cut into strips
  • 2 tbsp Tomato paste (parade ice cream pulp)
  • 2 tbsp paprika powder, sweet
  • ½ liter of water
  • salt and pepper
  • 2 sausages (Debreziner)
  • 2 tbsp flour, for binding
  • 4 tbsp crème fraîche

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 55 minutes

Lightly fry the onion and bacon. Then, add the tomato puree and paprika to the water, then add the cabbage, salt, and pepper. Stir thoroughly and cook until soft. Slice the Debreziner sausage and add it to the soup. Thicken it with flour and bring back to a boil. Season to taste. Add a spoonful of crème fraîche to the soup and serve with a slice of black bread.
