Brussels sprouts, cooked

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 750 g Brussels sprouts
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 50 g smoked bacon, diced
  • some nutmeg
  • Salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Remove the wilted leaves from the Brussels sprouts. Cut a cross into the stem. Wash the Brussels sprouts, boil them in salted water for 25 minutes, and drain. Heat the butter and briefly fry the diced bacon. Add the Brussels sprouts and toss them in the butter. Season with nutmeg.
