Thyme – Mustard – Sauce

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 small shallot(s)
  • 1 tbsp white wine
  • 1 tsp flour
  • 1 tsp mustard
  • 50 ml chicken broth
  • 50 ml cream
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 tsp thyme, fresh, leaves picked

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Heat the butter in a pan and fry the finely diced shallot until translucent. Sprinkle the shallots with flour and sauté briefly. Add the wine, bring to a boil, and deglaze with the stock and cream. While the sauce is reducing slightly, season with salt, pepper, and mustard. Season with fresh thyme before serving.
