Baked potatoes topped with bacon and cheese cream

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 kg potato(s), waxy
  • Salt
  • 1 onion(s), finely chopped
  • 100 ml whipped cream
  • nutmeg
  • 200 g cream cheese with herbs
  • pepper
  • 150 g bacon (breakfast bacon)
  • 100 g cheese (Emmental), grated
  • 2 tsp butter, for the baking tray
  • 1 clove(s) garlic, finely chopped

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Simmer the washed potatoes in salted water for 15 minutes, drain, peel while still hot, and halve lengthwise. Place on a greased baking sheet. Cut the bacon slices into thirds and place a piece of bacon on each potato half. For the cheese spread, mix the cream cheese with the diced onion and garlic, heavy cream, and grated cheese. Season with salt, pepper, and nutmeg. Spread 1 teaspoon of the cheese spread on each potato and bake in the oven preheated to 225°C for about 15 minutes.
