Millet porridge with apple, cinnamon and almonds

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 cup millet flakes
  • 1 apple
  • 2 cups water
  • some cinnamon powder
  • 1 handful of almond flakes
  • possibly soy yogurt (yogurt alternative)
  • possibly sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Add the millet flakes and water to a pan and heat over medium heat until a puree forms. Meanwhile, slice or grate the apple. Pour the puree and the apple pieces into a bowl or dish. Sprinkle with almonds and cinnamon, and top with another almond if desired. If you like, add yogurt, mix with the toppings, and season with sugar to taste.
