Quick fig and banana jam

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 10 figs
  • 2 bananas
  • 200 g gelling sugar, 3:1
  • 1 lemon(s)

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Peel and chop the figs, and peel and chop the bananas. Squeeze a little lemon juice over the bananas, otherwise they’ll turn brown. Place everything in a saucepan and cook according to the instructions on the preserving sugar package. Just before the mixture is done, add the juice of the whole lemon. Test for setting! Pour into jars and turn the jars upside down for 1 hour. This makes about 3 small jars of jam. Your kids will love it!
