Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • Herbs, e.g. basil, parsley etc., dried ones also work
  • Mustard
  • possibly honey
  • some vinegar
  • salt and pepper
  • nutmeg

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 5 minutes

low in fat, goes best with green salad

The best way to prepare the dressing is in a shaker. Mix all the ingredients and shake well. It tastes best with fresh herbs, of course. Frozen herbs or dried herbs are a second choice. This light and fresh dressing is perfect for a green salad, topped with cucumber slices and tomatoes.
