Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 300 g chicken breast, sliced
- 250 ml vegetable stock
- 200 ml cream
- 1 onion(s) , nB
- Paprika powder, sweet
- salt and pepper
- Mustard powder, ground
- 2 tbsp mustard, medium hot
- 2 tsp flour
Instructions
Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
Brown the chicken strips in a hot pan with pepper, salt, paprika, and ground mustard seeds. If desired, add a finely chopped onion and fry. Deglaze everything with the stock, bring to a boil, and simmer for 5 minutes. Add 150 ml of cream and stir in the mustard. Continue simmering. Mix the rest of the cream with 2 teaspoons of flour until smooth and thicken the strips. Season to taste with pepper, salt, and paprika. We serve this with pasta. Tip: For more sauce, simply add more milk to the cream.
