Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 750 g salsify (frozen or from a jar)
- 1 cup of cream
- 200 g cheese, grated
- salt and pepper
- nutmeg
- Fat for the mold
Instructions
Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
Cook the salsify in salted water until tender. Season the cream with salt, pepper, and nutmeg, bring to a boil, and thicken to create a thick sauce. Grease a casserole dish, add the salsify, pour the cream sauce over it, and sprinkle with the cheese. Bake in the oven at 200°C for about 15 minutes.
