Ingredients for 2 servings:
- olive oil
- 1 large onion(s)
- 1 chili pepper(s), fresh
- Garlic clove(s) to taste
- 1 can of tomatoes, peeled, approx. 400 g
- salt and pepper
- 250 g penne, spaghetti or fussili

Heat a generous splash of olive oil in a pan. Add the diced onion, finely chopped chili pepper, and, if desired, the chopped garlic, and fry. Meanwhile, chop the canned tomatoes and add them to the pan. If desired, you can also add a little more tomato juice from the can. Season with salt and pepper. Tip: If you like it a little spicier, you can add a little more chili. Let everything reduce slightly, while cooking the pasta until al dente. Pour the sauce over the pasta and serve.
