Marinated Chicken Drumsticks

The perfect marinated chicken drumsticks recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

For the marinade

  • 6 tbsp Liquid honey
  • 3 tbsp Soy sauce
  • 12 tbsp Ketchup
  • 3 tbsp Mustard
  • 1 piece Mono garlic or 3 toes

Spices

  • Ras-El-Hanout
  • Chilli salt
  • Ground cinnamon
  • Ginger
  • Salt pepper
  1. Cut the garlic into small cubes. Mix the marinade ingredients and spices. The amount of spices varies or can be changed as desired to suit your taste. E.g. with curry and / or chili.
  2. Put the marinade and legs in a large can (if necessary a large freezer bag), put the lid on and shake until the marinade is well distributed. About 2 hours in the refrigerator or longer.
  3. Grease a suitable (no larger than necessary) baking sheet or casserole dish, spread the legs on it. Save the remaining marinade.
  4. Bake at 180 degrees convection for 15 minutes, turn over (distribute the marinade residues on top) and cook for another 15-20 minutes. Possibly pour in some water beforehand.
  5. French fries, croquettes, rice or just baguette go well with it.
