Low-calorie spinach lasagna

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 600 g creamed spinach, frozen
  • 125 ml milk
  • 300 g low-fat curd cheese
  • 125 ml cream
  • 120 g cheese, grated (Emmental)
  • 300 g lasagna sheet(s)
  • 2 garlic cloves, pressed
  • salt and pepper
  • nutmeg
  • e.g. ham or salmon

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Preheat the oven to 180°C and grease a baking dish. Place the creamed spinach and milk in a saucepan and let it thaw. Mix the quark with the cream, 80g of cheese, salt, pepper, nutmeg, and garlic until it forms a spicy cream. Spread a few spoonfuls of spinach on the bottom of the baking dish, place a layer of lasagna sheets on top, and spread some of the quark cream on top. Continue this process until all the lasagna sheets have been used. The top layer should be spinach. Sprinkle with the remaining grated cheese and bake the lasagna for about 30 minutes until golden brown. If desired, you can also layer ham or salmon between the layers.
