Cereal breakfast – also delicious as a kindergarten meal

Wash the millet (soak it if necessary, but it’s not necessary). Place the millet in cold water, bring to a boil, and simmer gently for up to 10 minutes. Do not stir, as this will keep the millet grainy. Slice the two apples into the mixture and cook. Add the spices. Let it swell for 20 minutes. If too much liquid evaporates, add a little more. Finally, add the butter and melt. Add nuts, kernels, or seeds. If the millet is still too grainy, let it swell a little longer, adding more water if necessary. Total cooking time: 30-40 minutes. Tip: – Replace the water with milk, a cream-water mixture, or apple juice. – If the millet foams a lot during cooking, add a few drops of oil. – There is a millet that only needs 10 minutes to cook and cooks without swelling. It stays grainy during cooking. – This dish can also be made with other fruits and fruit juices. But apple millet is truly the tastiest. A great office meal in winter. Millet warms you up. – For a sweet main course, you need about 120 g of millet and more fruit.
