Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 400 g flour (rye flour)
- 4 eggs
- 2 tbsp oil
- some water
- Salt, for dough
- Water (salt water)
- Cheese, grated
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes
Spätzli made from rye flour
Beat the ingredients into a dough until bubbly. Let it rest for about 30 minutes. Then, in batches, push the dough through a sieve into boiling salted water. Remove with a slotted spoon as soon as it rises to the surface. Serve in a warmed bowl, sprinkle with grated cheese, and let it melt.
