Romadur – Cheese with Music

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 2 packs of cheese (Romadur cheese), 200 g each (fat content to taste)
  • 2 onions
  • Vinegar, preferably white balsamic vinegar
  • Oil, olive or sunflower oil
  • Salt and pepper, from the mill
  • some chives

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Slice the Romadur cheese and arrange it on a plate or platter in a shingle-like pattern. Finely slice the onions and arrange them on top of the cheese. Add a little salt and plenty of pepper. Drizzle with the vinegar and oil and let stand at room temperature for about half an hour. Sprinkle with chives just before serving. Serve with hearty, dark farmhouse bread and a cold beer.
