Vegan chocolate walnut cake with pear and spelt flour

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 g spelt flour
  • 50 g powdered sugar
  • 200 g sugar
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 1 large pear(s), diced
  • 4 tbsp, heaped cocoa
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 200 g walnuts, chopped
  • 100 ml soy milk (soy drink)
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 100 ml oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 35 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

A cake without eggs, butter or margarine

Combine flour, baking powder, sugar, powdered sugar, salt, cocoa powder, powdered sugar, vanilla sugar, and cinnamon. Fold in chopped walnuts and pear pieces. Stir in soy milk. Add oil until the mixture reaches a creamy consistency. Pour the batter into a springform pan. Bake the cake at 175 degrees Celsius (350 degrees Fahrenheit) for about 35 minutes.
