Vegan apple and onion liver sausage

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 class can/n kidney beans, red
  • 1 pack of smoked tofu, approx. 200 g
  • 2 onions
  • 2 apples
  • 2 dashes soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp marjoram, dried
  • salt and pepper
  • some oil for frying

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

100% vegan, delicious hot and cold, for about 20 servings

Cut the tofu into small pieces and soak in hot water for a few minutes. Peel and dice the onion and apples. Fry the onions in hot oil until lightly browned, then season with salt, pepper, and marjoram. Add the diced apples and fry briefly. Drain the beans and puree them with the tofu and soy sauce until smooth. Some people prefer a coarse liverwurst, so it’s better to chop them briefly with a food processor instead of pureeing them. Add the apple and onion mixture, stir well, and enjoy the liverwurst on bread. You may want to refrigerate it beforehand, but it’s not absolutely necessary. I’ve specified about 20 servings because we made about 20 sandwiches with it over the course of the day with the whole family.
