Fruit skewers with chili salt and sugar

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 3 tsp salt
  • 3 tsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp chili (chili flakes)
  • ½ pineapple
  • 1 mango(s)
  • ½ melon(s) (cantaloupe melon)

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Mix salt and brown sugar with 1/2 teaspoon each of chili flakes. Peel the pineapple generously. Quarter the flesh and remove the core. Peel the mango and melon. Deseed the melon and cut the mango flesh into pieces, removing the stone. Cut the fruit into large cubes. Thread the fruit cubes onto 12 wooden skewers and serve with the chili spice mixture.
