Whole-grain apple pancakes

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 250 g flour (whole wheat flour)
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • ½ liter of milk
  • Oil for frying
  • 1 apple

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 5 minutes

Pancakes

Mix flour, eggs, salt, and milk. Heat oil in a pan and cook one large pancake or several small pancakes per pan. Pour the batter into the pan in small portions, not too thickly. Top with chopped apple pieces. After a while, flip the pancakes. Serve until golden brown and as hot as possible with maple syrup. Instead of apples, you can also use blueberries or banana slices (children especially love these). Or you can cook the pancakes plain and serve them with applesauce or plum jam. A savory version with bacon and/or cheese is also delicious.
