Apple – Nut – Bread

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 750 g apples
  • 250 g brown sugar
  • 200 g walnuts, halved
  • 200 g hazelnuts, whole
  • 3 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 2 tbsp rum
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 500 g flour
  • 2 packets of baking powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 12 hours; Total time approx. 12 hours 15 minutes

Grate the apples with the skin on and mix with the sugar. Let it sit overnight. The next morning, stir in the remaining ingredients and bake the bread in a loaf pan at 150°C for 90 minutes. The bread freezes well, so it’s best to bake two at once.
