Tomato and mozzarella sticks

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 30 balls of mini mozzarella
  • 30 cherry tomatoes
  • 15 basil leaves
  • salt and pepper
  • some balsamic vinegar
  • some olive oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Drain the mozzarella balls and rinse with water. Wash the cherry tomatoes. Dry them thoroughly and then halve each. Pluck the basil leaves and cut into pieces (depending on the size of the balls). Reassemble the mozzarella and tomatoes into balls with a piece of basil in the center and insert toothpicks. Arrange everything on a platter as desired. Season with pepper and salt and drizzle with balsamic vinegar and olive oil. Add 1-2 basil sprigs for garnish. Let stand briefly.
