Milk cereal porridge

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 200 ml whole milk, 3.5% fat
  • 20 g cereal flakes (wholegrain cereal flakes), e.g. semolina, fine oat flakes or other infant flakes
  • 2 tbsp fruit puree, pulp, or juice, e.g. apple, pear, banana, peach, nectarine, apricot, or berries
  • 1 tsp almond butter, white or vegetable oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 3 minutes; Total time approx. 8 minutes

Basic recipe for babies, evening porridge, filling

Stir the flakes into cold milk and bring to a boil, then stir the semolina into boiling milk. Simmer for about three minutes. Stir in the fruit and, if desired, almond butter or oil. Let cool. Notes: If using regular finely ground oats, puree the porridge at the end if necessary.
