Applesauce variant, extremely delicious

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 kg apples
  • 2 bananas
  • 2 tbsp sugar or maple syrup
  • some cinnamon
  • possibly cardamom

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Peel and core the apples. Cover with water in a pot and bring to a boil. Meanwhile, slice the bananas into wedges and add them. Add spices (cardamom is also good), sugar to taste; some apples don’t need any at all! The aroma emanating from the bananas will entice everyone! After about 5-7 minutes of cooking, puree everything and serve with a dollop of cream for gourmets. It also tastes great on yogurt or rice pudding!
