Slimming Soup
The perfect slimming soup recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 250 g Ground pork or ground beef or ground beef half and half
- 500 g Wine sauerkraut
- 400 g Triplets (small, waxy potatoes)
- 1 Red peppers about 200 g
- 1 Large onion about 150 g
- 2 Garlic cloves
- 1 piece Ginger approx. 20 g
- 1 Red chilli pepper
- 2 tbsp Tomato paste
- 1 tbsp Sunflower oil
- 2 liter Clear broth (8 tsp instant broth)
- 1 tsp Sweet paprika
- 1 tsp Mild curry powder
- 1 tsp Whole caraway seeds
- 1 tsp Sambal oelek
- 3 big pinches Coarse sea salt from the mill
- 3 big pinches Colorful pepper from the mill
- 0,5 Cup Finely chopped coriander
- 2 tbsp Sweet soy sauce
- 2 tbsp Cooking cream
- 4 tbsp Milk
- 1 tbsp Sugar
- Peel the triplets and dice them. Peel the peppers with the peeler, clean, wash and cut into small diamonds. Peel the onion and cut into wedges. Peel and finely dice the garlic cloves and ginger. Clean / core the chilli pepper, wash and finely dice. Drain the sauerkraut well and catch the juice (it’s good to drink!). Clean and wash the coriander, shake dry and finely chop. Fry the minced pork in a tall pan with sunflower oil (1 tbsp) until crumbly. Add the onion wedges with the diced ginger, diced garlic cloves, diced chili peppers and peppers and fry while stirring constantly. Add tomato paste (2 tbsp) and continue to fry for another 3 – 4 minutes, stirring constantly. Deglaze / pour in the clear broth (2 liters). Add the sauerkraut and the potato cubes and sprinkle with sweet paprika (1 teaspoon), mild curry powder (1 teaspoon), whole caraway (1 teaspoon), sambal oelek (1 teaspoon), coarse sea salt from the mill (3 big pinches) and colored Season pepper from the mill (3 big pinches). Now simmer / cook with the lid on for about 25 – 30 minutes. Fold in the cut coriander, season with sweet soy sauce (2 tbsp), cooking cream (2 tbsp), milk (4 tbsp) and sugar (1 tbsp) and serve the soup hot
