Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 2 large eggs
  • 4 slices of ham or bacon
  • 2 slices of cheese of your choice
  • n. B. onion(s), tomatoes, leek, chopped
  • salt and pepper
  • some oil or butter
  • 2 slices of sandwich toast

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

as a snack or starter before the party night

Cut the ham or bacon into strips. Dice your choice of vegetables. Crack the eggs into a cup, whisk, and season. Heat oil or butter in a pan and fry the ham or bacon and the vegetables. Now add the beaten eggs to the pan and immediately place the two slices of toast, one next to the other, into the still-runny eggs. Reduce the heat and press the now-set scrambled eggs tightly against the slices of toast. Once the eggs have set, carefully use a spatula to get them under the bread and turn everything over to crisp up the bread. Place the cheese on the scrambled eggs until it melts. Now fold one slice of bread over the other. The scrambled eggs and cheese are now in the middle of the sandwich. Continue frying the toast until it is browned to your liking. To serve, cut the sandwich in half.
