Marinated turkey breast fillet topped with mozzarella and tomatoes

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 6 turkey breast fillets
  • some honey
  • some paprika powder
  • 1 mozzarella
  • 2 m.-large tomato(s)
  • Salt
  • pepper
  • oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes

Season the turkey breast fillets with salt, pepper, and paprika on both sides, drizzle with honey, and spread the mixture evenly. Then refrigerate for at least an hour to allow the marinade to absorb properly. While the fillets are refrigerated, slice the tomatoes and mozzarella. Preheat oven to 190°C. After the cooling period, roast the turkey breast fillets and then place them on a baking sheet lined with baking paper or in a casserole dish. Top with tomatoes and then mozzarella. Leave in the oven until the mozzarella is well melted. Serve with tagliatelle or rice. Tip: To make a sauce, fry the remaining mozzarella and tomatoes with garlic in a pan, add a little milk or cream, season, and thicken slightly with a sauce thickener.
