Wash the currants and pat dry. Pick the berries from the stalks. Mix the quark with the milk until smooth. Sweeten with a little sweetener, if desired. Tips: Grains, fruits, and dairy products are particularly rich sources of minerals. These, like vitamins, are essential for the body. They fulfill a variety of different functions in blood formation, bone development, and important nerve functions. They have both repair and protective functions and are distributed as dissolved salts by the blood throughout the body, taking them wherever they are needed. Although we have an abundance of food, our mineral intake is far from always sufficient. Per serving: Fat: 4 g Protein: 18 g Carbohydrates: 23 g Fiber: 6 g
