Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 500 g pear(s)
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 3 tbsp brown sugar
  • some water
  • 1 pinch(s) cinnamon powder
  • 1 tsp butter
  • 4 tbsp muesli, e.g. nut muesli without added sugar
  • 200 g whole milk yogurt

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

with roasted muesli

Peel the pears, halve them, remove the cores, then quarter them lengthwise and slice them into thin slices. Place them in a saucepan with the lemon juice, 1-2 tablespoons of sugar, and the cinnamon. Add 2-3 tablespoons of water and simmer over low heat for 1-2 minutes. Season to taste and chill. Heat the butter and remaining sugar in a pan, then toast the muesli for 1-2 minutes while stirring. Chill. Layer the pear compote and muesli in two dessert bowls. Stir the yogurt until smooth and spread on top. Garnish with a pinch of cinnamon. Tip: Instead of the muesli, you can also use coarsely crumbled rusks or – especially fine – almond biscuits and toast them in the butter and sugar mixture.
