Fish-shaped bread topped with vegetables

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 brown bread
  • 1 carrot(s)
  • 1 cucumber(s)
  • some butter or margarine

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Simple, healthy, vegetarian

First, the fish bread is cut into shape by cutting a triangle out of the side of the brown bread. This triangle is then placed at the other end of the brown bread, with the tapered side facing the bread. The surface is then spread with butter/margarine and the carrot and cucumber are cut into the required slices, which are adjusted according to size and requirements. These slices are then used to form a scale covering for the fish, along with an eye and, if desired, a fish mouth. Tip: This simple recipe can of course be varied by replacing the vegetables with fruit and butter with quark (banana and strawberry bread with quark). This bread is mainly for easy consumption and is ideal for breakfast with a drink (e.g. juice).
