Savory salami and vegetable muffins

Ingredients for 12 servings:

  • 125 g low-fat curd cheese
  • 5 tbsp oil, neutral in taste
  • 100 ml milk, low-fat
  • 200 g flour
  • ½ pack of baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 tsp, heaped paprika powder, sweet
  • 150 g salami, in one piece
  • 50 g peas, frozen
  • 1 bell pepper(s)
  • 100 g cheese, grated
  • Fat, for the shape

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Prepare well

Preheat oven to 175 degrees Celsius. Combine quark, oil, milk, flour, baking powder, and spices to form a batter. Add a little more milk if necessary. Dice the salami and bell pepper. Fold all ingredients into the batter and divide between 12 greased muffin cups. Bake for about 25 minutes. Test with a skewer if done. These are great for preparing ahead for the next day’s party and also freeze well. They taste even better that way!
