Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 400 g turkey meat (shredded)
- 1 jar sauce (pasta sauce)
- 1 can pineapple pieces
- 100 g cream cheese, reduced fat
- 1 garlic clove(s)
- 1 chili pepper(s)
- 1 pinch(s) of Provence herbs
- salt and pepper
- Cayenne pepper
- 1 tsp, heaped honey
- 1 pinch(s) of sugar, to counteract the acidity
- 200 g brown rice
- salt water

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes
a delicious, light dish
Cook the rice in salted water according to the package instructions. Dice the garlic clove and fry in a deep pan with a little oil. After a short time, add the minced meat, season with salt, pepper, and cayenne pepper, and fry thoroughly. Finely chop the chili pepper(s) and add to the pan. Drain the pineapple pieces and add them to the pan as well. Now add the heaped teaspoon of honey. Mix everything well. Then add the pasta sauce to the pan and bring to a boil. Add the cream cheese, melt it, and simmer for 2-5 minutes. Finally, add the sugar and season with the herbs de Provence. Season to taste and serve. You can, of course, choose another side dish instead of rice.
