Sourdough bread topped with apple and Camembert

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 slice(s) of bread, large, (sourdough bread)
  • some apple slices, thinly sliced
  • some Camembert(s), thinly sliced
  • some sweet paprika powder, to taste
  • some chives, finely chopped

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Place the Camembert in the freezer for one to two hours so that you can grate it into wafer-thin slices using the grater. Preheat the oven to top heat and highest temperature. Place a slice of farmhouse bread (sourdough) on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Core the apple, grate it into wafer-thin apple slices, and place them on the farmhouse bread. Grate the frozen, firm Camembert into wafer-thin slices using the grater, and cover the apple slices with them. Then briefly bake the whole thing in the top of the oven; the cheese should only melt slightly and not turn brown. Sprinkle with a little paprika powder, if desired. A leaf salad with pumpkin seed oil goes very well with this.
