Spaghetti with mushroom cream sauce

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 250 g pasta, spaghetti (preferably whole grain if you are doing food combining)
  • 250 g mushrooms (sliced)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil (for frying)
  • vegetable broth
  • 100 ml water
  • ½ cup cream
  • pepper
  • Salt (only if you still like it)

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Cook the spaghetti “al dente” according to the instructions. Meanwhile, heat the oil in a pan and sauté the mushrooms until crisp. Deglaze the pan with water and vegetable stock (use the amount according to the instructions). Simmer for 2 minutes. Now add the cream and season with pepper and salt, if desired. The sauce is not thickened in this recipe!
